The researchers of the University of Baylor to Waco, in Texas, took 19 men who made a training of resistance for a period of 10 weeks and gave some of them14 grams of whey proteins and casein with 6 grams of free amino acids, while giving the others 20 grams placebo.
Those who consumed the whey had a greater increase in the mass without fat and the muscular strength. The key is to follow the example of the study and to consume whey one hour before and after training.
