#2 – First Thing in the Morning
The best moment to eat fruits is immediately after the awakening. While you sleep, your liver burns its glycogen to supply the glucose necessary for the brain during your night. When the levels of liver glycogen begin to plunge, a signal is sending to the brain to begin to decompose muscular proteins to convert amino acids into glucose for the brain.
When you wake up in the morning, you are a machine to burn muscles. At this moment of the day, you will not have to care that the fructose had been transforming into fat, then go to eat.
The fructose will put to good use for the resupplying of the levels of liver glycogen and stop the signal to burn muscular protein.
Best morning choices (choose 1 or 2) :
• Pineapple (1 cup diced)
• Honeydew melon (1 wedge)
• Orange (1 medium)
